Andrew Perpetua’s project has established a firm reputation as one of the leading chroniclers of the Russian invasion of Ukraine – both its events and the changes along the frontlines, and the experiences Ukraine’s people suffer on a daily basis as a result of this war.
Whilst Andrew Perpetua’s project is formally separate from Tochnyi’s, our own research and analysis often draws from Andrew’s own fastidious data collection. Through collaboration with Andrew as a contributor and associate at Tochnyi, our team has been able to work closely with Andrew on a variety of Tochnyi research projects and, in turn, assist in cataloguing items to support Andrew’s project. This is also the case for other members of Andrew’s project and the contributors to his Youtube stream.
We work together with the same fundamental values affirmed within our Mission statement. Due to the workload Andrew’s team is under, as a result of his project expanding at an unsustainable rate, we are in need of more contributors. Documenting the events of any aspect connected to the war in Ukraine is of paramount importance to enable a better understanding of the war from both a micro and macro perspective, and to inform the public about this war’s daily events. Well documented sources for every event enable a lasting database of events to be kept. This database is important for both research and future war crimes investigations.
Andrews main product is his map, https://map.ukrdailyupdate.com/, which allows users to browse through the daily events of this war and the current situation on the battlefield. Notable events affecting military targets and civilian victims, fortifications and much more is shown through the map’s adjustable layers.
